Waukon- Funeral services for Frederick W. Meier, 78, who died Saturday at his home in Waukon, were held Monday in the Zion Reformed church of Waukon.
He was born April 10, 1872, in Ludlow township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Meier. He lived his entire life in the community.
He married Mary E. Wacker Nov. 31, 1911, who survives, together with four sisters, Mrs. William Winke and Mrs. Otto Sanderman, Waukon., Mrs. Fred Helming, Bristol, S.D., and Mrs. John Hansmeier, Foley, Minn.; and two brothers, John Meier, Waukon, and Paul, Ludlow township.
