Waukon- Funeral services for William Martin, 79, farmer of near Waukon, will be held Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with burial to take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Martin, pioneers of Jefferson township, William Martin spent his entire life on the family homestead.
He is survived by his wife, the former Belle Moody; five sons, Lawrence, John, Henry, Ralph and James; three daughters, Mrs. William Moritz, Waukon, Mrs. Vernon Ames, McGregor, and Mrs. Marvin Springer, Indianapolis, Ind.; and a sister, Mrs. Patrick Healy, Waukon.
