Waukon- Services for Miss Elizabeth Sherman, 82, who died Friday, held Sunday at Zion Reformed Church. Burial: Ebenezer Cemetery.

Miss Lizzie Sherman
Waukon, Ia. - Services for Miss Lizzie Sherman, 82, who died Friday at a nursing home here, were Sunday afternoon from the Martin Bros. funeral home to the Zion Reformed church with the Rev. Edmond Henning officiating and burial in Oakland cemetery*.

Miss Sherman was born Dec. 22, 1867 on a farm east of here, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sherman. She conducted a nursing home here for several years.

She is survived by an only sister, Mrs. Charles Hansmeier, of Waukon.

Waukon, Ia. - Funeral serevices for Elizabeth Sherman, 82, who died Friday in a Waukon nursing home were held Sunday in the Zion Reformed church, the Rev. E.L. Henning officiating. Burial was in the family lot in Ebenezer cemetery east of Waukon.

Born in Jefferson township Dec. 22, 1867, Miss Sherman lived her entire life in Allamakee county. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Sherman. In adult life she was a practical nurse.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Charles J. Hansmeier, who is 87.
