Waukon- Charles Tierney, 69, formerly of Waukon, died Tuesday at his residence in Phoenix, Ariz., of an apparent heart attack.

Survivors are his wife, Margaret; and two sisters, Kathryne Schulte of Waukon and Marie Magner of Iowa City.

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hanover, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Friday at Hanson's, where a Scripture service will be held Friday at 8 p.m.
