Waukon- Clinton L. Kelly, 82, of Winona, Minn., formerly of Waukon, died Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors are his wife, Gusta; two daughters, Geraldine Kirkeby of Winona, Minn., and Nona Hansmeier of Waukon; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. today at Rossville Presbyterian Church. Burial: Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements by Martin's.

Clinton Lionnel Kelly was the son of Orange "Ora" B. Kelly and Edith Mary Robey. He was born February 26, 1902 in Jefferson Township, Allamakee County, Iowa. On December 14, 1921 he married Gusta Helen Gjefle at Rossville, Iowa.

They were the parents of two daughters, Geraldine "Gerry" Kelly who married Orval Harlan Kirkeby and Nona Kelly who married Roger W. Hansmeier. Clinton and Gusta also had one son who was deceased at the time of Clinton's death. Clinton Vernon Kelly was married to Frances Peterson. Vernon was born May 6, 1933 and died on Mother's Day, May 10, 1959 at Lansing, Iowa in an accidental drowning accident as he was fishing with family members.
