Waukon- Leslie Welper, 49, of New Albin, died Friday from a sudden illness at LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse, Wis.

He is survived by three brothers, Virgil and Everett, both of Eitzen, Minn., and Delbert of LaCrescent, Minn.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at the New Albin Town Hall. Burial: Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. today at the New Albin Town Hall. Arrangements are being handled by Martin's Funeral Home in Waukon.
