Waukon- Firman Erding, 90, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, at Veterans Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: St. Pius Catholic Cemetery, Cherry Mound, rural Harpers Ferry. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hanson Funeral Home, where there will be a Scripture service at 3 and a rosary recited at 7 p.m.

Survivors include three daughters, Donna Smith of Endwell, N.Y., Dianne Wolfe of Harpers Ferry and Kay Barry of North Hills, Calif.; a son, Charles of Minneapolis, Minn.; two sisters, Vivian Carroll of Winona, Minn., and Dorothy Anderson of Rochester, Minn., and a brother, Kenneth of Wykoff, Minn.
