Waukon-- Evelyn I. Herman, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, in Veterans Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, First Baptist Church, by the Rev. Richard Johnson. Burial: Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon.

Survivors include two daughters, Alaine Meier of Waukon and Ruth Orth of Waterloo; and a brother, Ralph Schon of Waukon.
