Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Clarence Raymond, 76, who died Monday, after a year's illness, at his home in Chicago, were held at Chicago this week.

Mr. Raymond was born on a farm west of Waukon, Aug. 19, 1868, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Raymond, pioneer settlers. He grew to manhood in this vicinity, and several years ago went to Chicago to make his home.

Surviving are his widow, two sons and a daughter, all in Chicago; a sister, Mrs. J.E. Briar, Waukon; and a brother, Melville, Boise City, Idaho.
