Postville, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. E.R. Livingood, 80, were held at the Schutte Funeral Home here Friday. The Rev. L.H. Newhouse officiated. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery northeast of here. Mrs. Livingood died Tuesday evening in a hospital in Waukon following a long illness.

She was born as Caroline Peshia, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Peshia, in the Myron vicinity, on Dec. 9, 1864. She spent her entire life in this community.

Surviving are nine children, Willard, Earl, Lynn, and Mrs. Alfred Winters, all of Postville; Charles, of Detroit Lakes, Minn., Mrs. Gerald Moose, of Monona, Ia., Mrs. Carl Winters, of Waterville, Ia., Cecil, of Castalia and Mrs. Elwood Lawson, of Waukon, Ia. There are fifty grandchildren and nearly as many great grandchildren.

Mrs. Livingood was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter.
