Roland Snitker

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m. from Salem United Church of Christ, rural Waukon for Roland Snitker who died Friday, October 1 at his home in Postville.

Roland, son of the late Herman and Emma Lange Snitker, was born March 5, 1924, baptized June 1, 1924 and confirmed in Salem Church April 10, 1938.

On October 26, 1968 he was united in marriage to Marnetta Johnson of Waukon. He was employed by Hygrade Food Products in Postville.

Mr. Snitker is survived by his wife, a stepson Darwin Johnson, three brothers, Raymond, Wesley and Willard all of Postville, two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Lucille) Ludeking of Waukon and Mrs. William (Rebecca) Hendrickson of McGregor.

Burial was in the church cemetery.
