Bella Kosbau Services Held

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Henry Kosbau on Friday afternoon at the Martin Bros. funeral home to the Zion Reform church. She passed away at a naval hospital on Friday, April 28, 1944, at San Diego, California, following a short illness.

Deceased was born October 30, 1899 in Paint Creek township near Waterville, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Paul Larson. She was united in marriage to Henry Kosbau on September 30, 1920. Following their marriage they made their home in this city and in Waterloo and last July when her husband joined the marines she joined him in San Diego, Calif., where she found work in a defense plant.
She is survived by her husband, and niece Miss Bonnandine Pederson, who made her home with them, her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Larson of Waukon, two brothers, Herbert Larson and Theodore and four sisters, namely, Mrs. Harvey L. Stock, Waukon, Mrs. Ray Foltz of Waterloo, Mrs. J.F. Clinton of Des Moines and Mrs. Albert Hanson of Waterville.

She was an active member of the Royal Neighbors, Order of the Eastern Star and Women's Relief Corp.

Pallbearers were: William Duval, Everett Leas, Ludvig Larson, Leslie Baurcamper, Leslie Goepel and Leo Promnitz.

Burial took place in Oakland cemetery.
