Waukon, Ia. - The body of Mrs. Edward Allanson, 51, arrived here Saturday from Palm Beach, Fla., where she died suddenly Wednesday. The funeral will be held here Sunday afternoon in Martin Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. W.M. Mitchell, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Allanson was the former Beth Crawford and she was born here in 1891, a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Crawford. Following her graduation from high school, she was married to Mr. Allanson, then cashier in a local bank. They later moved to Glendale, Pa., where Mr. Allanson was in the banking business. At the time of her death she was wintering in Florida.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Edra at home; one son, Dr. James Allanson, now a lieutenant in the Army Medical Corps in Texas; a brother, Dr. Nathan Crawford of Baltimore, Md.; and one sister, Mrs. Carol Steele of Sioux City.
