Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Martin McLaughlin, 81, will be held Monday morning as St. Mary's Church at Dorchester with the Rev. M.J. Brogan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Dorchester Cemetery.

Mr. McLaughlin died Friday at his farm home following a long illness. He fractured a hip last December in a fall at his home.

He was born March 28, 1861 on a farm in Allamakee county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick McLaughlin. He was a former member of the Board of Supervisors.

Surviving are two sisters, Celia and Bridget, both at home.
