Monona, Ia - Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Cahoon, 90, were held here at the Schultz Funeral Home with the Rev. W.K. Bodamer of Prairie du Chien, Wis., officiating. Mrs. Cahoon died March 1 at the farm home of her daughter, Mrs. O.A. Schlitter, following a long illness.

She was the former Margaret Ann Blackwell and was born Dec. 30, 1852 in Ohio, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Blackwell. She attended Oberlin Business College and on Nov. 21, 1874 was married to E.L. Cahoon. They came to Iowa the following year, settling at the village of Sixteen.

Surviving are seven children: Raymond of McGregor, John of Colorado Springs, Colo., Frank of Detroit, Newton and Mrs. Jacob Sherbonda, both of Lewiston, Mich.; and Elbert and Mrs. Schitter, both of Monona; 32 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph Blackwell of Harpers Ferry, and Albert and Bert, both in Texas.

Her husband and three children preceded her in death.
