Waukon, Ia. - Funeral arrangements were being made here Monday for Donald Dale Howard, four-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howard of Waukon, who was run over and fatally injured Sunday night when he fell beneath a truck being driven by his father.

The accident occurred at 6:30 p.m. as Howard, a trucker, was backing the machine a few feet in a driveway at the family home to make room for another car to pass. Donald, witnesses said, ran and jumped on the running board as his father started to back up. The truck wheels passed over his head when he fell and his death occurred a short time later in a local hospital.

Surviving are his parents, three sisters, and two brothers.
