Waukon, Ia.- Herman Greiser, 54, well-known farmer, died suddenly at the farm home, five miles northeast of Waukon, at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Greiser and his brother, Gus, had just come from the field where they had been planting potatoes, when the former was stricken with a heart attack. He died a few minutes later.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lula Coeke; four children; a sister, Mrs. David Knope of Waukon; and two brothers, Charles of Makee Township, and Gus at home.

The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Greiser, pioneer residents of this community. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Herman F. Greiser, 54, farmer who dropped dead at his home Tuesday afternoon following a heart attack, will be held here Friday afternoon at the Martin Bros. Funeral Parlors, according to arrangements completed Thursday. The Rev. Frank Stucky, pastor of Zion Reformed Church, will officiate and burial will be in Englehorn Cemetery near Churchtown.
