MAGNUSSON, REED, DOLPHIN

Lansing, Ia. - Funeral arrangements were incomplete here Friday for Alfred Magnusson, 65, who died Thursday following a three-year illness of heart trouble. The last rites are tentatively set for Sunday afternoon at the Federated Church with John Kile, student pastor, in charge. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Magnusson was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Magnusson and was born here Feb. 2, 1877. He was married 40 years ago to Louise Reed and they farmed in this vicinity until they retired and moved to Lansing. Mr. Magnusson had since been employed at the local light plant and for several years was janitor at the city schools.

Surviving are his widow; five sons, Edward, who is a fieldman for the Red Cross in Oklahoma; Milton, in the Army; Harold, a radio naval operator; Norman of Corning, and George of Centerville; four brothers, Arthur of Malcomb, Herman of Lansing, Albert of Arcola, Ill., and Walter of Grand Forks, N.D.; one sister, Mrs. Bertie Dolphin; and seven grandchildren.
