Harpers Ferry, Ia. - Funeral services for Douglas G. Boardman, 63, commercial fisherman, were to be held from the home to St. Ann's Catholic church Wednesday. Mr. Boardman died Monday at St. Francis' hospital, La Crosse, Wis., where he was taken following a cerebral hemorrhage.

He was born March 5, 1882, in Harper's Ferry, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Boardman. He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Valley; four sons, Mark, Lester and Roy Boardman, all of Harpers Ferry, and Sgt Harry Boardman, stationed at Camp McCoy, Wis.; and five daughters, Leonette, Mrs. Clem Cassidy and Mrs. Ben Gavin, all of Harpers Ferry, and Mrs. Ronald Peterson and Mrs. Edward Knutson, both of La Crosse.
