MCCORMICK, MANDERFIELD, PECK, KELLY, SCHULTZ

Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for James McCormick, 76, of Waterville, who died Monday at St. Francis' hospital, La Crosse, Wis., following surgery two weeks earlier, were held at St. Pius' church, Cherry Mound, Wednesday morning. The Rev. Albert H. Nees, pastor, celebrated the mass of requiem. Burial was in the nearby cemetery.

Mr. McCormick was born on a farm near Waterville on March 31, 1869, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard McCormick. He retired from farming and moved to Waterville a number of years ago.

Surviving are his wife, who was Mrs. Tillie Manderfield Peck before her marriage to Mr. McCormick some years ago; three sisters, Mrs. M.J. Kelly and Mrs. Will Schultz, both of Waterville, and Miss Bridget McCormick, Waterloo, Ia.; and three brothers, Charles, John and Thomas McCormick, all of Waterville.
