Waukon, Ia. - Funeral services for Miss Anna Ahearn, 75, were held Thursday morning from the Baake funeral parlors, to St. Patrick's church, where the Rev. Ernest J. McDonald, pastor, celebrated the requiem mass. Burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Miss Ahearn died Tuesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Delaney, where she had been cared for since submitting to an operation in July.

She was born on a farm in Hanover township about 75 years ago, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ahearn. Some years after the death of her parents, she and her two sisters, Bridget and Julia, purchased a home in Waukon, where they resided until they moved to Dubuque. Julia and Bridget died in Dubuque several years ago.

Surviving is her sister, Mrs. Delaney, and a number of nieces and nephews.
