Iowa Volksblatt, 10 June 1898, re-printed in the Postville Herald of 7 June 1923 in the Postville 25 Years Ago column.

The body of Mrs. Johnson, who died in Minneapolis last week, was brought here for burial Saturday. The Johnson family formerly conducted the Humphrey Hotel here. She was 86 years old.
