Postville - Margaret E. Wedo, 88, died Saturday evening, Oct. 3, 1998, in the Good Samaritan Center after a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Community Presbyterian Church, by the Rev. Gary Catterson. Burial: Postville Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Schutte Funeral Home, Postville, and one hour before service time Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include three sons, Lavern and Robert, both of Postville, and Louis of Waukon; five brothers, Laurence Sampson of Fremont, Calif., Arnold Sampson of Chicago, Ernest Sampson of Oxnard, Calif., Clarence Sampson of Cedar Rapids and Norman Sampson of Newman, Ga.; and two sisters, Mearle Lee of Lynwwod, Wash., and Doris Nurre of Cedar Rapids.

Note: buried in the Roger Stuckman lot, gravestone inscription gives dates July 19, 1910-October 3, 1998. Married Charles E. Wedo, they divorced. He died in 1983 & is buried in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Monona.
