Funeral services for Mrs. Alva Shepperd, 49, daughter of Henry Kamous of route three, Postville, are being held today at the Schultz funeral Home in Monona, and burial will be in the Grand Meadow cemetery at Ridley.

Mrs. Shepperd had been an invalid for the past 25 years.

As Alvina Anna Marie Kamous, she was born in Germany on march 27, 1892, and came to Postville with her parents when two years old.

She was married to Alva Shepperd June 14, 1911, and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Irene Hofer of Luana, Mrs. Cora Pesney of Lime Springs, and Mrs. Florence Clynch of Elma. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Anna Walter of Edgewood; a brother, Henry Kamous, Jr. of West Union; her father, Henry Kamous, Sr. of Postville, and two grandchildren.
