A telegram Wednesday conveyed to the brothers and sisters in Postville the sad news of the death in Staplehurst, Neb., that morning of John Ruckdaschel, whose wife preceded him in death just a year and a day. Mr. and Mrs. John Ruckdaschel, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Ruckdaschel and Miss Anna Thoma of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dickman of Garnavillo left yesterday to be present at the funeral.
