Mrs. M. J. Elmore, mother of Mrs. Fred Goeke, died Wednesday at one o'clock at the County Home near Waukon. Funeral will be held from the home here at 10:30 Friday morning, burial at Monona.

Note: The 1925 Iowa State census shows Mrs. F.G. Goeke is Lorena and that her father was William Elmore. Earlier census' show William Elmore and his wife Martha J. living in Monona, Clayton county, Iowa.
