Jennie H. McMaster was born at Grand Meadow, Clayton Co., Iowa, Oct. 15, 1863, and departed this life Sept. 17, 1910, at four o'clock in the afternoon, at the home of her mother. When ten years of age she came with her parents to Postville, where she continued to reside till called at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 2 days. Mr. McMaster, father of the deceased, passed away Oct. 6, 1908, a little brother in infancy, and a sister, Della, Jan. 3, 1877. One sister, Grace, her aged mother and a host of friends survive to mourn her loss. Though a sufferer for many months, few suspected the real serious condition of her case. Feeling that each and all had their own trial and sufferings, she did not wish to add to their burdens by complaining about her own. So, cheerfully and patiently she bore her lot till God said 'tis enough. The funeral was held from the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. S. Westfall, and the large gathering of friends who assembled to pay their last tribute of respect, was the best testimonial of the high character of the deceased that could be offered. May the great comforter sustain those who mourn.

In this connection Mrs. M. J. McMaster and Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Morgan wish to thank all who by word or deed have done what they could to assist them in their great affliction.
