Postville Review, Fri., 16 Feb. 1900.

Mary Clark was born in Pleasant Valley, N.Y., Nov. 1, 1835, and died Feb. 13, 1900, at Postville, Iowa, aged 64 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was married to Hiram Cornell Dec. 12, 1859, at Albany, N.Y. They came west at once, settling at Dwight, Ill., where most of her life was spent. Three children were born to her. Mrs. Gertie Kaylor, of Dwight, Ill., and A. E. Cornell, with the husband survive her. She has been a member of the Cong. church at Dwight, Ill., for a number of years.

Though a constant sufferer for many months, she was patient and trustful to the last. Her life gave evidence of her trust in Christ.

Funeral service at the Commercial Hotel yesterday afternoon at 2:30. Sermon by Rev. Pollard. The O.E.S. attended in force and a number of the Masonic fraternity were present. Interment in Postville cemetery. The review extends condolences to the bereaved.
