Eldredge Hanks, father of W. J. Hanks, of this place, died at Clear Lake last Wednesday morning. He had been sick with dropsy for some time, the final cause being an apoplectic stroke. Mrs. M. A. and W. J. Hanks left for Clear Lake yesteday morning.
