Postville Review, Wed., 9 June 1875.

DIED- At Elgin, Sunday, June 6th, of typhoid pneumonia, Abner Allman.

Mr. Allman had been a resident of Hardin, but had sold out there and had been in quest of a new home. He was taken sick at his brother's, in Elgin, and died after a short illness. He was a consistent member of the M.E. church, and was much respected. He leaves a wife and three children. Funeral services from the Miner school house on Monday afternoon. Services conducted by Rev. Paine of Postville.
