Bernhard Welper Dies on March 26

Bernhard Welper, 72, Union City township, died suddenly March 26, after a short illness. He was born Sept. 19, 1881.

Survivors are six sisters, Mrs. John Munz, Mrs. George Buege and Mrs. Herman Renk of New Albin, Mrs. Louis Wiemerslage, Dorchester and Mrs. Charlie King, Waukon; four brothers, Benjamin, New Albin, Louis, William and Walter, Dorchester.

Funeral services were conducted at St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church Saturday, the Rev. R.W. Radloff officiating with burial in the church cemetery.
