Postville Review, Fri., 15 Dec. 1916. From the Britt News.

Another aged man has been called to the better world, this time it is Mr. Ira Nash, father of townsman Charles Nash and who had lived in Britt the past year with his son. He died Monday morning at 10 o'clock from causes attributed to old age. Mr Nash was born in Ohio. He has been a resident of Iowa for many years and until he came to Britt was a resident of Postville and vicinity. He was past 86 years of age.

He was married at Three Rivers, Mich., in September, 1853.

The funeral was held from the Congregational church Tuesday afternoon Rev. W. U. Parks having it in charge, and the burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.

This is the third death in the Charles Nash home in 1916. Mr. Nash's mother died in July, Mrs. Nash's father died a few weeks later and now the father of Mr. Nash has passed over the border. All were advanced in years.-- Britt News.
