Postville Herald, Thur., 5 Jan. 1933.
Mrs. Rozella Webb, 87, widow of the late Henry Webb, passed away Sunday afternoon, January 1, 1933, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. E. Owen of Postville, where she has made her home for a considerable period of time, her demise following a protracted period of failing health.
Mrs. Webb was born in Ohio, February 18, 1845, being a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Dresser, and came to this section in early childhood with her parents. Her husband preceded her in death many years ago.
Mrs. Webb was one of the noble pioneer women of this section, where all her life has been spent, and she was known to all as a good wife, mother, citizen and friend, who in the fullness of years has been called to her rest. All who knew her were her friends and will sympathize sincerely with those bound to her by a closer tie.
She is survived by one son, Herman D. Webb, of Postville; and four daughters, Mrs. Eugene E. Owen and Mrs. George W. Fay, of Postville; Mrs. John F. Staadt, of Ottawa, Kansas; and Mrs. Adolph Thias, of Milwaukee, Oregon. One daughter, Mrs. C. (or O.) P. Smith, preceded her in death.
The funeral will be held from the Postville Community church at two o'clock this afternoon. Rev. R. F. Galloway officiating. Interment will be made in the Postville cemetery.
