Note: Nina’s name shows up as Cornelia as well as Celestial, the latter in her first husband James Regan’s obituary. Records indicate that Nina Holmes and her first husband James Regan were married October 13, 1896 (I am not sure if the 13th is the date of the license or the actual marriage). Nina was the daughter of Oliver W. Holmes and Catherine Treanor. Also her daughter was Sister Marie Therese or Theresa (the last letter was omitted in the obituary). Devello Homes, Jr., should have had the surname spelled Holmes.
