William Krogmann, an emplove of the Mason City & Clear Lake railway, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. H. F. Evert, in this city during Monday night. He had been sick for the past few months although his condition was not thought to be serious. He was a member of the German Lutheran church at Postville. He came to Mason City about ten years ago from Postville. Mr. Krogmann was born in Germany, Sept. 26, 1878. Besides his sister here, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Adolph Foels of New Richland, Minn.; one brother and two sisters, Charles Krogmann and, Mrs. Chas. Ohloff and Mrs. Minnie Powell all of Postville. -- Mason City Times.
The remains were brought to Postville Wednesday evening and the funeral was held from the Lutheran church in this city yesterday afternoon and interment was made in the Postville cemetery. Deceased was aged 36 years, six months and four years, and the cause of his death was valvular heart trouble, he being found dead in his bed.
The family wish to extend thanks to the flower girls and pall bearers.
