Services for Ruth M. Beisker were held Wednesday, May 29, 1985 at the Schutte Funeral Home, Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson officiated. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Ruth Minnie Beisker, daughter of Henry and Mary Ann (Anna) (Nuehring) Stockman, was born December 18, 1905 at Postville, IA. She died May 26 at the Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, TX.

She attended the rural schools near her home. She was married to William Beisker and they were parents of 4 children. They farmed north of Postville until 1952 when they moved to Sherman, TX.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1962.

Surviving are 2 sons, Francis Beisker of Rockford, IL and William Beisker of Sherman, TX; 2 daughters, Cherrie Beisker of Dennison, TX and Daisy (Mrs. Elmer Atwood) of Sherman, TX; 4 grandchildren, Carol Knaus, Barbara Kramer, Susan Watkins and Ruth (Atwood) Anderson; 6 great grandchildren, Dana and Erin Kramer, Stacy and Gabriel Watkins, Jason Knaus and Amy Anderson; and one brother, Lester Stockman, Postville.

pallbearers were Gilbert Livingood, Edwin Kirkestue, Gene Stockman, William Livingood and David Beisker.
