Chas. W. Johnson, a long-time resident of the Forest Mills locality, passed away last Saturday evening, aged 78 years, following a brief illness.

He is survived by his widow and only son, L. R. V. Johnson, proprietor of the Forest Mills garage.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday at 1:30 from the Forest Mills church with the Rev. R. F. Galloway in charge and burial was in Smithfield cemetery.
