Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at Zalmona Presbyterian church in Ludlow for Mrs. Minnie Depping, 67, who passed away last Wednesday morning after a brief illness. Interment was in the cemetery near the church.

Mrs. Depping was born as Minnie Charlotte Duvel in Ludlow township January 16, 1878. She grew to womanhood and spent her entire lifetime in that community. On June 18, 1908, she was married to Fred Depping, who passed away August 19, 1937.

After their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Depping lived for several years on the Mary Sickmeier farm and then purchased the adjoining farm which had since been their home.

She is survived by four brothers, Fred, Albert and Charles Duvel of Ludlow township, and Will Duvel of Waukon; two sisters, Mary, Mrs. Albert Klein, and Esther, Mrs. Albert Klocke, both of Ludlow township.
