Former Postville Lady Passes At Gary, Indiana.

Funeral Services were held Saturday in the Geisen funeral home in Gary, Indiana, for Mrs. Charles Simonds, 71, a former Postville resident, who passed away in Gary last Thursday. Interment was at Momence , Ill.; long the Simonds family home.

She was born as Belle Lamborn September 7, 1875, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elba Lamborn who lived on the farm now occupied by a brother of the deceased, Don Lamborn. She was married to Charles Simonds in 1894, Mr. Simonds being a baker in Postville at the time. They moved to Illinois in 1897.

Mrs. Simonds is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Opal Robinson of Gary, Ind., a brother, Don Lamborn of near Hardin, and a half-sister, Mrs. Imo Lamborn Shella, of Jasper, Minn.
