Postville Herald, Postville, Iowa, Thursday, March 31, 1921.
-------------------------------------------------

Florence Helen Kluss was born near Postville May 4, 1894, and with her mother, sister and brother moved to boulder, Colorado, in 1908, where she was educated, graduating from the University of Colorado in 1916. On Aug. 31, 1920, she was united in marriage with Dr. Howard Holden Cook of Brooklyn, N. Y. , and on Sunday, March 20, 1921, she died at her home in Dover, New Jersey.

The remains were shipped to Postville, arriving here last Thursday morning accompanied by the husband, and at two o'clock on the afternoon of the same day a brief funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. Anna Leui in this city, conducted by Rev. Saathoff, following which interment was made in the Grand Meadow cemetery by the side of her Father.

Florence was a young woman of a most likeable disposition and many friends will regret to learn of her passing and will sympathize sincerely with those bereft.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. Mary Kluss of Boulder, Colorado; her brother, Lieut. Walter Leui Kluss of Fort Collins, Colorado; and her sister, Mrs. Joseph Lyman Kingsbury of Kirksville, MO.

Aside from those above mentioned Mrs. Catherine Perry of Camp Dix, N.J., was also present at the funeral.
