Mrs. P. Callahan of New Albin died suddenly Wednesday night of heart failure. Deceased was born in Maryland, March 23,1841, and married Patrick Callahan at Wexford Dec. 2, 1859. They lived for a while at Harpers Ferry and came to New Albin in 1865.

A husband, one daughter, Mrs. H. F. Ayer, and two sons, Jas. of Texas and John of Chicago, survive.

Her maiden name was Mary Martha Brophy, and a host of friends regret her death.
