Dennis Kuhse

Dennis D. Kuhse, 72, of Lansing died Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Home in Waukon following a brief illness. Services were held Thursday, September 29 at the Thornburg-DeVries Funeral Home in Lansing, with Rev. John Moser officiating.
Dennis was born September 13, 1939 in Communion. He was a 1958 graduate of Elkader High School. He moved to Cedar Rapids and worked at Penick Ford and later at ADM until his retirement in 2001. He and his wife moved to Lansing shortly after his retirement. He enjoyed trout fishing, sports, the Chicago Cubs and most of all, the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was a friend to everyone.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Tow Kuhse of Lansing; a daughter, Kelly Kuhse of Albuquerque, NM; two grandchildren, Ashley Rammelsberg of Albuquerque, NM and Kyle Rammelsberg of Bowie, MD; one brother, Ron (Jan) Kuhse of Sioux Falls, SD; two sisters, Pat Vasey of Davenport and Shelley (Jerry) Baker of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Eileen Koehn Kuhse of Cedar Rapids.
