The little baby son of Henry Leithold, of this city, met with a strange mishap recently, resulting in the little one's death. Mrs. Leithold had left the child for a moment to wait upon another one in an adjoining room. During her absence the child gained a window and in some manner loosened a catch that held the raised sash. This fell upon the child's neck. Upon Mrs. Leithold's return she was horrified to find her baby dead.

The little one was about twenty months old and the parents are grief- stricken at his death.

Transcriber’s Note: The last name is correctly spelled LIETHOLD. Find a Grave shows he is buried in Oakland Cemetery and was born March 10, 1900 and died Nov. 29, 1901
