Many friends and relatives attended the funeral of Mrs. Roy Loven from Bakke and Hanson funeral home and St. John's Lutheran Church here Tuesday. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.

Ruth Helen Onsager was born August 10, 1910 to Henry and Anna Onsager of Allamakee county. She was baptized by Rev. Tjelle and confirmed by Rev. Wm Rasmussen of Waukon. She attended school in and near Waukon. After completing high school in Decorah she taught in Winneshiek county.

On May 6, 1933 Ruth Helen Onsager was united in marriage to Roy Loven by the Rev. Alfred Bredesen of Glenwood township. There are two sons, Richard at home and Russell of the US Armed forces.

Ruth Helen Loven passed away at the Waukon hospital Saturday morning, April 28, after a lingering illness.

Besides her immediate family, Mrs. Loven's survivors include her mother, Mrs. Anna Onsager of Decorah, two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Reun of Winneshiek county, Mrs. Julian Landsom of Spring Grove, Minn, one grandson, a daughter in-law, Juanita Loven, also three nephews and three nieces.

Mrs. Loven was a faithful member and active worker of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Waukon. She had a life-membership in the St. John's Lutheran aid.
