Ford Thias, 64, of 235 Feldt Ave., died Tuesday morning at Scholtz Memorial Hospital. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Wesleyan church in LaPorte City with burial in Westview Cemetery in La Porte City. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie, a stepson, Richard Buck of
Waterloo; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Terry Halligan of Waterloo and Mrs. Arnold English of San Antonio, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Robert McNally
of Monona, Mrs. Agnes Seel of Cherokee, and Mrs. Oria Brown of Postville. The Johannsen-Rossow Funeral Home in La Porte City is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and until noon Saturday.~Waterloo Courier, December 26, 1975
