Mrs. Sam Waters, Jr., passed away Sunday, March 7th, after a week’s illness from pneumonia. Everything that medical skill and the loving hands could do proved of no avail. Dr. Kessell of Cresco was called in consultation Thursday with Dr. Kelleher of Postville and a trained nurse, Mrs. Iverson of Decorah, has been constantly at her bedside and on Saturday another nurse was called to assist her but God willed it other ways and called her home. We are without further particulars as the date for the funeral has not been set as they are waiting to hear from relatives from away.

Mr. and Mrs. John Waters, Bert Waters and family of Postville, Mr. And Mrs. J. A. Peck, Chester and Carlton, C. W. Pilgrim and Clem Pilgrim and wife of Decorah were present at the funeral of Mrs. Sam Waters Sr., Wednesday (March 10, 1926).
