Thos. Waters, son of Sam Waters of Frankville, died at his home in Estherville, this state, Wednesday (April 30, 1919). He leaves a wife and nine children. Mr. Waters is the first of the thirteen children in his father's family to pass away.

A telegram was received here on Wednesday evening, April 30th, with the sad news of the death of T. E. Waters at his home in Estherville. Tom was 51 years old and was born and lived in our neighborhood until 18 years ago, when he moved to Estherville, where he has since resided. He was married to Belle Todd, who with nine children are left to cherish his memory. His father, Sam Waters, Mrs. J. A. Peck, Sam and Clavin Waters, Mrs. Chris Waters and Miss Jane Lyons went out to attend the funeral, which was held Friday afternoon, returning home Sunday. The family have the sympathy of their many friends here in their sad bereavement.
