On Tuesday (January 04, 1887) evening of this week Mr. Geo. Waters, Sr., residing in Ludlow township, dropped dead on his porch, while bringing in an armful of wood, we suppose from heart disease. Mr. Waters, as well as the relatives bearing his name, were well known in this section, and are respected by all from their sterling principles of integrity. The deceased as well as the surviving members of his family have always been strong friends of the REVIEW, and it is with more than ordinary sadness that we are compelled to chronicle this sudden and sad event.
