Ronald James Fiet, the two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Fiet, Ludlow township, drowned in a buttermilk tank Tuesday morning. The father had just returned home from the creamery and was unloading the buttermilk and while his attention was detracted for a few moments the little lad fell into the tank. The boy was taken to a doctor's office at Waukon where all efforts to revive him failed. He is survived by his parents, a sister, Marlene and a brother, Norman. No funeral arrangements had been made as we went to press.
