Rites Are Held For Mrs. H. H. Conley

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Schutte Funeral Home for Mrs. H. H. Conley, 76, who passed away at her home here Thursday, January 4, following a short illness.

The rites were in charge of Rev. Walter T. Martin of the Community Presbyterian Church. Burial was in Postville cemetery.

Nellie Trudo Conley, daughter of Edward and Agnes Trudo, passed away at her home in Postville January 4 after a short illness. She was born on a farm near Postville and spent her entire life in this community. She was 76 years of age at the time of her death.

In 1896 she was married to Henry Conley and to this union two children were born, Clifford Conley of Postville and Mrs. L. E. Robb of Atlanta, Georgia, both of whom survive the passing of their mother. Her husband preceded her in death in 1936.

She is also survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. Harold Butler of Atlanta, Georgia, a sister, Mrs. Mae Schuler of Postville and two brothers, Elie Trudo of Mason City and Joe Trudo of Long Beach, California.

Mrs. Conley was a member of the old Methodist Church of Postville.
